| John Goodban was elected as President of the EGU in 1977/8 and he presented these Salvers to commemorate this event. They were originally played for in a 36 hole Mixed or Men’s Foursomes competition over 2 weekends. They have now been incorporated into the August Open Week as an ‘Any Combination Foursomes Medal’ competition over 18 holes. |
