Junior Stableford - West - Sunday 6th April

The continued high pressure heralding the start of spring, refused to move as the seventeen talented junior golfers convened at Saunton GC. Clear skies and a breathless wind provided the perfect conditions for the second junior competition of the season, played out on the on the superbly presented West course. 

A strong finish with two closing pars from Harry Cohen kept him in third place and George Cann’s closing stretch of six holes secured him 20 points to hold second place. His eagle on fifteen would be the highlight of the day. Both performances, however, were not enough to secure a win as Ellie Mai Bradford beat the field and gained her first victory of the season. 

Congratulations and thank you to all those who took part – everybody played brilliantly. SJA appreciates your participation and engagement, and we look forward to ongoing success during the rest of the season.
