Dress Guide
We are not formal at Saunton. We expect players and guests to be neatly dressed and with the exception of wet weather clothes, golf shoes, and caps/hats what is acceptable on the course is acceptable in the clubhouse. Blue jeans, track suits, tee shirts and trainers are not permitted.
Handicap Certificates
Saunton courses are not for beginners, a reasonable standard of play is required to enjoy the courses.
Slow Play
Players are asked to keep up with the group in front. If a group loses a complete hole on the match in front they should call the group behind through irrespective of the number in the group. A 4 ball should take 4 hours 10 minutes to complete a round at Saunton.
Practice Facilities
There are two practice putting greens, a short game practice area, a covered range for iron play only (token required), and a long practice ground.
Buggies And Trolleys
Can be hired and should be reserved in advance with the Pro's shop.
Tees
Tees of the day for men will be white or yellow.
Mobile Phones
May only be taken on the courses as a safety precaution and must not otherwise be used. In the Clubhouse they are not permitted in the Bar or Restaurant.
